COURSE OVERVIEW -  This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a non-slewing mobile crane with a Maximum Rated Capacity (MRC) exceeding three
tonnes safely, in accordance with all relevant legislative responsibilities.

This unit is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work and provides the knowledge and skills required to obtain a High Risk Work Licence to operate a Non-Slewing Mobile Crane (+3 tonnes)

DURATION - 3 Days, 8:00am - 4:00pm each day

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW & DO -

  • You must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • You will be required to conduct mathematical calculations throughout this course
  • You must supply 100 points of identification, including (1) form of current photo identification
  • A passport photo is required when you lodge your High Risk application with Australia Post

ASSESSMENTS - Successful assessment of this unit meets the competency requirement of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
- State/territory OH&S regulators have mandated the use of Assessment Instruments and Instructions for Assessment for this unit which have been endorsed by the national body responsible for OH&S matters.

REASSESSMENT - Applicants deemed not yet competent will be provided the opportunity to undergo further training. Applicants cannot be reassessed for a minimum of 48 hours; fees may apply for each section that requires reassessment.
